<Poem>
聞汝依山寺，
杭州定越州。
風塵淹別日，
江漢失清秋。
影蓋啼猿樹，
魂飄結蜃樓。
明年下春水，
東盡白雲求。

<Translation>
I heard you were in a nonastery in the hills Either in Hang-chou or in
Yueh-chou. The days of our separation are filled with war and disturb-
ance; My thought of you ahs occupied this whole clear autumn. My
body is among the crying gibbons of the K'uei-chou woods, But my soul
is floating out to alight on the mirage-tower of the Eastern Sea. Next
year, I shall sail down the spring stream, Going east as far as the white
clouds can go, in search of you.
